Thank you, District 3 Voters!Broward County voters came out to the polls and overwhelmingly supported the School Board’s bond referendum on November 4th.
Recognition of FMEA Award Winners
On January 21, 2015 Mr. Robert Todd, Music Teacher for Bayview Elementary, and Mr. Robert Becker, Principal of Embassy Creek were recognized by the School Board in a joint recognition brought by School Board members, Heather Brinkworth and Laurie Rich Levinson. Mr. Todd was selected as the 2014-2015 Music Educator of the Year by the Florida Music Educators' Association, and Mr. Becker was selected as the 2014-2015 FMEA Administrator of the Year.

Thank you! To all of the citizens of District 3 for electing me as your School Board member on August 26th. This was my first campaign for office and it is truly an honor to be chosen. I promise I will diligently work for the betterment of educational resources for the students and residents of District 3, and all of Broward County.

I cannot believe how quickly this summer has flown by. The teachers will be coming back on August 11th, and the 1st day of school is set for August 18th.

We are rapidly approaching the end of this school year and I have been visiting as many of the District 3 schools as possible to say hello, and learn about the needs of each school. The School Board continues conducting a “Needs Assessment” survey of all Broward County public schools over the coming months. Many schools have substantial facility issues that have been accumulating during the recession. District 3 schools have varied substantial repairs that are needed.
